Police responded to a report of a crash involving a child in north Columbus on Wednesday evening.
According to police, a crash occurred near Cleveland and 12th avenues just after 5:30 p.m.
10TV News crews on the scene said that a 7-year-old girl was struck and hospitalized with minor injuries.
The driver stopped at the scene and was not expected to be charged, police said.
The names of those involved were not immediately released.
