Westerville Woman Sentenced In Fatal Heroin Overdose

A Westerville woman accused of injecting a man with a fatal heroin overdose has been sentenced.

Emily Thacker, 26, will spend five years in prison for the death of Russell Ronske, according to The Columbus Dispatch.

Thacker pleaded guilty to one count of involuntary manslaughter.

Ronske died in March at the ER at Mount Carmel St. Ann’s hospital after a night of partying at Thacker’s boyfriend’s apartment at a nearby bar.
