Women Accused Of Breaking Into Home, Stealing Piggy Bank

Two women were arrested after a Columbus police officer in a helicopter witnessed them throw stolen goods in a trash can.

Vanessa A. Juarez and Patricia Stillwell are accused of breaking into a home, located in the 3700 block of Bonaire Street, on Monday.

According to court documents, the women broke through a front window of the home and stole a piggy bank, among other items.

After leaving the home and being spotted by the police helicopter, the woman admitted to breaking into the home and stealing items.

Some of the items that were dumped in the trash were recovered by the women.

Both women were being held in jail on $2,500 bond on Tuesday.
