Last Issue Of ‘The Other Paper’ Slated For Jan. 31

The Dispatch Printing Company announced on Monday that ‘The Other Paper” will cease operations.

According to company officials, the last issue is set for distribution on Thursday, Jan. 31.

The Dispatch Printing Company acquired “The Other Paper” from American Community Newspapers in 2011. The paper became the second free-distribution entertainment weekly publication for the company, which already prints “Alive!” in its portfolio of products.

Reader feedback indicated that “The Other Paper” and “Alive!” had too much overlap between the two publications.

Company officials said that the decision to cease operations at “The Other Paper” will allow more focus and resources to be directed toward “Alive!” in 2013.
