A plan to build apartments in Lancaster for recovering drug abusers is moving forward.

The groundbreaking on the Pearl House Project could be later this month, reported the Columbus Dispatch.

The $5 million project is planned near Chestnut Street and Memorial Drive. It will contain around 21 units.

The Pearl House will provide counseling and treatment services for residents at the location.

It’s modeled after similar apartments in Columbus, but it’s new to Fairfield County.
