Groveport Road Reopens After Ammunition Found

Columbus police said that Groveport Road on the south side reopened Monday night after military ammunition was found.

According to police, Groveport Road was closed between Glendower and Wilson avenues, shortly after 6 p.m.

Police said that they found military ammunition.

Police were at Ace Iron and Metal, located at 2515 Groveport Road, to investigate.

Police later discovered it was only a non-explosive training round and the road was reopened.
