The Transportation Security Administration screens thousands of passengers at Port Columbus International Airport every day, and occasionally TSA officers find firearms.
TSA officials told 10TV News that they confiscated 11 guns at Port Columbus in 2012. Ten of the guns were found loaded.
However that number is a decline from those given by a TSA agent in 2008, which revealed they had stopped a gun at security checkpoints nearly every week.
