The man police accuse in the first homicide in 2013 made a court appearance on Monday.
Bond was set at $500,000 for Dennis Oteng.
Oteng, 21, is accused of shooting and killing Kingsley Owusu.
Owusu was found in the parking lot Filipinas Center on Westerville Road with a gunshot wound to his upper body.
He died from his injuries after being transported to a local hospital.
The incident apparently started with a fight at a birthday party inside the club.
