Chillicothe Mayor Jack Eveson has announced the elimination of six administrative positions in the city for 2013.
That includes the Parks and Recreation Director position that was held by Cathy Primer, reported the Chillicothe Gazette.
The city said the move will not change how the city uses the recreation levy passed in 1993 which generates around $700,000 a year.
The mayor said that Primer could possibly return to the city later this year if the budget situation improves.
