Police were searching for a man who robbed an east Columbus restaurant at gunpoint late Thursday.
Police said a man drove through the drive-thru at the Tim Hortons, located along Stelzer Road, and waved a gun shortly before midnight.
An employee told police that he saw that the man had the gun wrapped in a towel.
The man demanded money, and the employee handed over an undisclosed amount of cash.
Police said that the robber was in a new model Toyota Corolla.
Officers were examining security video to see if they could get a better description of the robber.
