A man will be sentenced later this year after being convicted in connection with a Bexley school teacher’s death.
According to The Columbus Dispatch, 36-year-old Eric Bowles admitted to causing a crash that killed Molly Davis in March 2011.
Bowles ran a red light in March and crashed into Davis’ car in Clintonville.
Defense attorneys argued that Bowles suffered from severe mental illness.
Bowles could spend up to three years in prison, but is eligible for probation. His license also could be suspended, The Dispatch reported.
Davis, 61, started her career at Cassingham in 1971. She took a break from teaching and returned to the school in 1975, where she taught since then.
