Woman Sentenced To 7 Years For Setting Lancaster Fire, Suspected In More

A woman accused in a string of arsons in Lancaster has been sentenced for setting one of the fires.

Sherie Bomar was given seven years behind bars for aggravated arson for a fire set on Wyandotte Ave. in Lancaster.

Bomar appeared in Fairfield County Common Pleas court on Thursday.

That fire was part of a string of 16 fires that were set during June and July.

Bomar has been accused but not charged in the other arsons over that time period.
