Man Faces Charges For Whitehall Bar Stabbings, 2 People Injured With Filet Knife

Officials have charged a man with two stabbings at a Whitehall bar early on Sunday morning.

Michael  Hembree of Powell faces charges of felonious assault for the stabbing two people with a filet knife at the Stop 40 on East Main Street before 7 a.m. on Sunday.

According to police, Hembree stabbed William Gallagher and Deborah Moore.

Gallagher was stabbed once in the lower abdomen and Moore was stabbed twice in the lower abdomen.

Investigators continue to look at what led to the incident.

Hembree was scheduled for a court appearance Monday morning.
