Fire crews battled a blaze at a duplex in the 1000 block of E. 20th Street in the near northeast side of Columbus on Monday.
The fire started around 2:15 p.m.
An adult and two children escaped the fire unharmed. The Red Cross is assisting the families that lived there who have now been displaced.
The fire caused $20,000 in damage.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
