Special Information:
A Winter Weather Advisory will go into effect this evening and continue through Saturday morning. Snow will develop tonight, mainly after 10pm and continue through midmorning Saturday. Snowfall accumulations of 2 to 5 inches will be likely with a few spots possibly picking up a bit more southwest of Columbus. Overnight lows will drop into the upper 20’s. Snow showers will taper off to scattered flurries Saturday afternoon with highs in the low to mid 30’s. Skies will remain mostly cloudy Saturday night into Sunday. Temperatures will drop into the low 20’s Saturday night with highs staying in the 20’s on Sunday.

Another round of light to moderate snow is expected late in the day on New Year’s Eve with snow showers continuing into New Year’s Day. Temperatures will stay near or below freezing through most of next week.
