Police Search For Man Who Robbed Hotel Employee At Gunpoint

Police said that a man entered a south Columbus hotel and demanded money.

According to police, a man entered the Hampton Inn, located at 2093 S. Hamilton Rd., shortly after midnight Dec. 22 and brandished a gun at the clerk.

Police said that the unidentified man demanded that the clerk get him money from the register.

The man became agitated and forced his way behind the counter while threatening the clerk, police said.

A good description of the man was not immediately available.

The clerk was not injured during the robbery.
