Ohio Airman Gets Christmas Call From President Obama, Invites Him To Wedding

Senior Airman Keshia Shutts from Montpelier got the call of a lifetime on Christmas Day.

Shutts got a 'Merry Christmas' from President Obama.

She was chosen to receive the call by senior Air Force leadership.

Obama thanked Shutts for her service and asked if she had talked to her 3-year-old back home.

After Obama asked Shutts if she had a date for her upcoming wedding, she told him it was September 1 and told the president he was welcome to attend.

Shutts, originally from Montpelier, Ohio, is deployed from the 121st Logistics Readiness Squadron of the 121st Air Refueling Wing, Ohio Air National Guard, located at Rickenbacker International Airport in Columbus, Ohio.
