Fraternal Order Of Police President Takes Job With Franklin County Sheriff

The departing president of the local Fraternal Order of Police is taking on a new role.
 
According to The Columbus Dispatch, Jim Gilbert will take the role of a major with the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office next month.

He will serve as the second in command of the patrol bureau.

Gilbert recently submitted his resignation to the Columbus Division of Police.
