The Ohio State Highway Patrol said that it found 885 grams of hydroponic marijuana after a Miami County Crash on Monday.
According to OSHP officials, a Kentucky man now is facing felony charges after troopers found the marijuana, worth nearly $9,000, lodged in a vehicle’s bumper.
Officials said that they tried to stop a driver, identified as 27-year-old Brandon Means, who was going 89 miles per hour on Interstate 75. When the trooper attempted to catch up with the driver, the Means’ 2013 Chevy Captiva struck a commercial vehicle.
Means, who was taken to the Upper Valley Medical Center for his injuries, was found to be driving under a suspended license.
Means faces charges for marijuana and possession of criminal tools.
If convicted, Means could face up to two years in prison and up to a $5,000 fine.
