Officials at the Knox Community Hospital are asking everyone visiting the hospital with flu-like symptoms to wear masks over their mouths and noses.

Officials said that they have seen an uptick in flu cases this season.

Along with covering mouths and noses, officials also asked people to wash their hands and use hand sanitizers and to use tissues to cover coughs and sneezes.

Officials also want people with flu symptoms to refrain from visiting people in hospitals.
