Reward Issued For Information About Man Shot To Death Through Home Window

Central Ohio Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $2,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and/or indictment of the person responsible for shooting and killing a man earlier this year.

According to Crime Stoppers, Shawndel Woods was shot and killed on March 31 at a home in the 1400 block of Myrtle Avenue in northeast Columbus.

Officials said that Woods, 28, returned to the home with a number of friends at about 3:45 a.m.

Someone then fired a bullet into the front room window and struck Woods in the back.

Woods died from his injuries after being hospitalized.
