Police executing a search warrant in northern Ohio fired on two approaching pit bulls and wounded a bystander in the foot.

Police in Willard south of Sandusky say the woman was treated at a hospital and released. An officer who fell was treated for an injury and one dog was treated for a gunshot wound.

Authorities say the incident began Wednesday as officers tried to execute a search warrant, a man fled toward his apartment and the pit bulls ran out and headed for police.

According to the Sandusky Register (bit.ly/TctUNG), two 19-year-olds were arrested on drug possession charges.
