Driver Leads Troopers On Chase Along U.S. 23 Reaching 120 mph

Troopers caught a driver Wednesday after a high-speed chase in Madison Township.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol said that the pursuit began on South High Street, north of Interstate 270 around 3:30 a.m.

The driver led cruisers on a 25-minute pursuit up U.S. Route 23, S.R. 104 and Hamilton Road, reaching speeds of 120 mph.

It took stop sticks to bring the fleeing vehicle to an abrupt halt.

Authorities said that it was likely the driver would face charges including fleeing and OVI.
