The westbound lanes of state Route 16 were closed on Tuesday evening because of a crash.
The crash, which occurred after a short chase involving Granville police, happened on S.R. 16 and River Road in Granville shortly after 8 p.m., Granville police told 10TV News.
The chase occurred after a traffic stop at S.R. 16 and Cherry Valley Road, police said.
Granville fire and Licking County Sheriff’s officials were also on the scene of the crash, which possibly involved two vehicles.
The names of those involved were not immediately known.
There were no immediate reports of injuries.
