A three-vehicle crash shut down the intersection of Morse and Karl roads on Columbus's north side early Tuesday Morning.

Columbus Police said a car was struck and pushed into an intersection near Morse and Karl roads while at a southbound traffic light around 1:30 a.m.

Officers said the driver that caused the crash continued to strike a police cruiser parked in the Columbus Police Department parking lot across the street. No one was inside the cruiser.

Both drivers were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police suspect alcohol was involved in the crash.

The intersection reopened after police cleaned up the debris. The roads were open by 5 a.m.
