A man in his 50s or 60s walked into a downtown bank on Monday and demanded money.
According to the FBI, a man walked into the Key Bank, located at 88 E. Broad St., at about 2 p.m. and walked directly to the teller counter.
The man handed the teller a note asking for cash. The teller removed an undisclosed amount of money from the drawer and placed it on the counter.
The suspect then walked out the front door and walked toward High Street.
The man was described as wearing a navy blue stocking hat, a navy blue hooded jacket with a thin light color horizontal strip across the chest. He was white, approximately 55 to 60, between 5 feet 3 inches and 5 feet 5 inches tall and about 170 to 180 pounds.
Anyone who thinks that they saw the man in the area at about 2 p.m. is asked to call the Columbus Division of Police at 614-645-4665.
