Authorities are working to track down a man who tried to smash his way into a southeast side business.
The man targeted the Family Dollar store, located along Lockbourne Road, around 3:25 a.m.
Police said that the man broke the front window, tripping the alarm system. He fled when the alarm sounded.
Investigators were reviewing surveillance video and said that the man was caught in the act.
