Two local schools received a big surprise Thursday from an Ohio State great.

Buckeye legend Chris Spielman presented Lancaster Fisher Catholic and Reynoldsburg High Schools with $10,000.

The schools won the High School Team Challenge.

Spielman said that he hoped the money would offset pay-to-play fees.

Each school said that the money would go toward participation fees for student athletes.
