State Senators could vote this week to allow guns in the parking garages under the Statehouse.
The legislation would allow lawmakers and Capitol Square visitors to leave firearms in their vehicles. The change would apply to the Riffe Center as well.
The legislation would keep the ban on firearms inside the Statehouse and other buildings owned by the state.
