Reward Offered For Information About 20-Year-Old Man's Death

Central Ohio Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $2,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and/or indictment of the person responsible for shooting and killing a man.

According to Crime Stoppers, Dante Hill and a female friend drove to a home, located in the 1800 block of East 26th Avenue, on Dec. 12, 2007.

Hill, 20, got out of the vehicle and walked to the door.

As he walked to the door, an unidentified man came up behind him in an attempt to rob him. Hill was knocked to the ground. The unidentified man then shot Hill and rummaged through his pockets.

Hill's companion, who was still in the vehicle, started to scream, which caused the unidentified man to run from the area.

Hill died of his injuries.
