Columbus police said one person was dead after an attempted home break-in in Northeast Columbus.
Police said two suspects broke into a home on Stonecastle Drive around 8:00 p.m. Wednesday.
Officers said one of the suspects was killed at the scene.
Police are investigating what led to the shooting.
