Police want shoppers to be on the lookout for thieves targeting unsuspecting women in parking lots.

The most recent report came from the Kroger grocery store, on Bethel Road, in northwest Columbus.

Authorities said that a 78-year-old woman was loading groceries into her van when someone grabbed her purse from her cart. The thief got away with $300 in cash.

Less than two weeks ago, 10TV reported that a similar robbery happened at a Hilliard Meijer store. That time, a 92-year-old woman was loading groceries into her cart when thieves took her purse.
