Police were working to learn more about a violent robbery near the Ohio State University campus.
Student Evan Klingensmith told 10TV that he was waiting for a friend along East 17th Avenue when two men approached him and held him at gunpoint.
Klingensmith said that the robbers walked him around to a nearby building took his wallet, his identification and then punched him in the face.
"It was sort of unreal," Klingensmith said. "I really didn't think this would actually happen to me. But I was relatively calm through the whole think I think."
Police were looking into another robbery nearby on East 13th Avenue, where a group of men broke into an apartment and took items.
