Nationwide Insurance opened its newest building in the Arena District on Monday.
According to company officials, 1,000 employees will be moved into the building, which is located at 10 W. Nationwide Blvd.
The five-story building, which cost $26 million, will house Nationwide's retirement plans business, Nationwide Securities LLC broker dealer personnel and one of Nationwide Financial's IT groups.
All of the employees moved to the new building were from Nationwide's office, located at 5900 Parkwood Place in Dublin. Some employees from Nationwide's office on Rings Road, also in Dublin, will move to the building.
