Police Look For Person Who Struck Woman, Left Scene

A woman was struck in west Columbus overnight and authorities said the driver did not stop.

Police located the woman Sunday morning. She was lying on the ground near the intersection of Clarendon and Sullivant Avenues.

She was taken to Mount Carmel West and emergency crews said her condition had stabilized at that time. There was no update on her condition.

The name of the victim was not released.

Police said a car matching the description of the one involved in the crash was found on West Broad Street, but no one was inside.
