A three-story apartment building on the city’s west side was evacuated early Saturday morning because of a fire.
The fire broke out on Kingsford Road around 2 A.M.
The fire was contained to a single apartment on the bottom floor.
The Red Cross was on hand to help a woman who was displaced by the blaze.
The other residents were allowed back inside around 3:30 A.M.
The cause is under investigation.
