A woman faces drug charges after deputies said that she was high and passed out in her vehicle.
According to the Athens County Sheriff's Office, Julie N. Conkey was found in her vehicle passed out with her foot on the gas pedal at about 2 p.m. Friday. The vehicle was not in a drive gear.
Officials said that a deputy was able to reach inside the vehicle and turn it off.
Deputy Mike Burba and Deputy Matt May said that they found a half-smoked marijuana joint in 30-year-old Conkey's vehicle, along with five different types of pills.
Conkey was charged with possession of a controlled substance and was taken to the Southeast Ohio regional Jail.
