Dublin Police Investigate Robbery At US Bank

Police are searching for a robber who wore a fake beard while he robbed a Dublin bank.
 
According to police, a man entered the US Bank, located at 6320 Franz Road, at about 4 p.m. and stole an undisclosed amount of money.

Police said that they were searching for a white man with a fake beard, a brown fedora hat, black gloves and a blue plaid shirt who was in the area at 4 p.m.

Police said that it did not appear that the man had a weapon. He fled eastbound on foot from the bank.

Investigators said that they believed the man was connected to similar robberies in which investigators named the culprit the "Bad Beard Bandit."

Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call Dublin police at 614-889-1112.
