Child Diagnosed With Bacterial Meningitis

A student at St. James the Less has been diagnosed with bacterial meningitis.

According to the school, school officials were notified on Dec. 5 that the student had been diagnosed with a strain of bacterial meningitis.

School officials said that they contacted the Columbus Public Health Department and notified parents about the illness.

School officials said that the building was thoroughly cleaned to reduce the potential for spreading the illness.
