Hundreds of thousands of dollars could go to the Fairfield County Airport if officials allow a natural gas pipeline to run underneath it.

According to the Lancaster Eagle Gazette, the airport could receive $170,000 toward operating expenses for one year if the deal is approved.

The entire county could see $450,000 if the deal to lay the pipeline, running from Pennsylvania to Indiana, is approved.

According to the Eagle Gazette, county commissioners said a tentative agreement has been reached.
