A woman was hospitalized after she was struck by a car Wednesday morning.
Emergency crews were on the scene of East Fifth and Rarig avenues just after 7 a.m.
Investigators said that the woman was struck by a vehicle traveling around 25 mph. She was transported to Grant Medical Center in serious condition.
It was not clear if the driver, who stayed on the scene, was charged.
