Requests made with city public utilities department have resulted in more than 100 residents and business owners making use of its graffiti removal program.
The service has allowed people to have unsightly graffiti removed from their property at no cost to them.
The Graffiti Blasters, as the city has dubbed them, use a specially-equipped truck to blast paint off surfaces with compressed air. The cleaning crew has responded to complaints through the city’s 311 website and through its 311 service center at 614-645-3111.
City council has set aside $400,000 for the program in 2013.
