Thick fog swallowed north and northeast side roads Monday morning, causing problems for commuters.

WBNS-10TV crews witnessed visibility of less than a mile in some areas surrounding Columbus.

Fog was thick when a semi overturned, closing the ramp from Interstate 71 north to I-70 east around 5:45 a.m.

Dozens of schools delayed classes while they awaited safer road conditions for drivers.
