1 Injured After Vehicle Crashed Into Horse-Drawn Buggy

The driver of a horse-drawn buggy was hospitalized on Monday after being struck by a vehicle.

According to the Lancaster Eagle Gazette
, the buggy driver and his horse were injured at about 3 p.m. when they were struck by a driver of a car, identified as Robert Hilyard.

The crash occurred near Breman and Zion roads.

Hilyard was not injured in the crash and was cited for failure to maintain a clear distance.

The Eagle Gazette reported that Hilyard was traveling behind the horse and buggy when he struck the buggy from behind.
