Authorities said they have charged a pharmacy technician and her boyfriend for stealing and trafficking drugs.

Stacy A. Hawk, 33, is accused of stealing hydrocodone from the pharmacy where she worked in Pomeroy. The Ohio State Board of Pharmacy said that she admitted to taking the drugs.

Investigators said they served a warrant at her address in the 600 block of Grant Street in Middleport and recovered prescription drugs, weapons and drug paraphernalia from the home.

Tony Robinson, 36, was at the home and he was charged with trafficking in drugs and possession of drugs.

The investigation will be presented to the Meigs County Prosecutor’s Office for additional charges.
