A fire was set around midnight on the roof of the Research and Technology Center on Richland Avenue at Ohio University in Athens, according to police.
Ohio University police said that the blaze did cause damage to the building, but no one was injured.
Investigators believe the fire was intentionally set and are looking for a suspect.
Anyone with information about the fire is asked to call Ohio University Police at 740-593-1911.
