Ohio State's John Simon Wins Big Ten Defensive Player Of The Year

Ohio State quarterback Braxton Miller has been named the Big Ten's offensive player of the year. Meanwhile, the Big Ten named his Buckeye teammate, John Simon, the defensive player of the year Tuesday night.

Simon, who was the heart and soul of the silver bullets, led the Big Ten with nine sacks this season.

The defensive lineman also has 44 tackles, 14 and a half were for a loss.
