Weber Rd. was reopened between Bremen and Greenwich streets after a bomb squad investigation Sunday.
According to the Columbus Fire Department, a caller reported a possible grenade with the pin pulled along the 1500 block of East Weber Road around 11:41 a.m.
Residents in the immediate area were asked to remain indoors. There were no reports of injuries or evacuations.
The road reopened before 2 p.m. The device was taken to another location to be safely detonated.
