With the clock ticking away until Christmas, independent storeowners hoped to beckon shoppers on “Small Business Saturday.”
“We feel like it’s a good way for the community to get to know us,” said Sara Guice, of Thread on Grandview. “But also for us to support other local, small businesses.”
Many shop owners know their businesses put distinctive touches on the city of Columbus.
“They make our city unique, they drive our city,” Claire Lowe, of Rowe Boutique said. “They are owned by people who live in the city and really care about the city.”
