A mother's live-in boyfriend was arrested and charged with abusing a toddler over a piece of cheese.
Police said that 23-year-old Grant Smith became upset after his girlfriend's daughter ate the last piece of cheese in the house.
Authorities said Smith woke up the child and put his fingers down her throat to make her vomit. Police said the child was hospitalized for burst blood vessels in her face.
Smith was charged with domestic violence, assault and endangering children. He was ordered held on $250,000 bond.
